The Human Rights Expert Panel makes all decisions in accordance with its Terms of Reference. They generally meet 4 times a year.
It currently consists of Catherine Dauvergne (chair), Lucie Lamarche, Brenda Young, Samantha Peters, Edward Béchard-Torres, Shalini Konanur and Patricia Paradis. The biographies of the members can be found on the website of the Department of Canadian Heritage.
