Supporting the advancement of constitutional rights in Canada

The Court Challenges Program (CCP) offers funding for constitutional human rights (Charter rights) and official language rights test cases of national importance to support the clarification and advancement of those rights through the courts. Funded by the Government of Canada, the CCP is an independent body that, through Expert Panels, selects cases for funding from applications submitted and ensures that funding is used to advance human rights and official language rights for the benefit of all Canadians.
